This once-in-a-lifetime experience begins with a 3:45 AM pickup from your hotel, followed by a scenic drive to the Ollantaytambo train station. At 6:10 AM, you’ll board the train to Aguas Calientes, traveling through the lush Sacred Valley. Upon arrival at 8:00 AM, your guide will meet you for a 30-minute bus ride up to the iconic Machu Picchu citadel.
Once inside, you’ll embark on a 2.5-hour guided tour, exploring the legendary ruins and learning about the history of the Inca Empire. Discover key sites such as the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana stone, and the vast agricultural terraces, all set against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains.
After the tour, you’ll descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding the return train to Ollantaytambo at 2:55 PM. From there, a transfer will take you back to Cusco, where you’ll arrive around 6:30 PM, completing your unforgettable journey.
