Join us for an unforgettable adventure starting with a 6:45 AM pickup from your hotel to the beautiful lakeside port of Puno. Board a motorized boat and journey to the unique Uros Floating Islands, where you’ll spend about 45 minutes exploring these fascinating islands made from totora reeds. Our friendly bilingual guide will share insights into the lives of the Uros people, who creatively utilize these reeds for their homes, boats, and food.
Next, we’ll head to Taquile Island, where you’ll enjoy a scenic one-hour hike to the village. Spend 3 hours taking in stunning views, experiencing local customs, and savoring a delicious lunch featuring fresh trout at a local restaurant. You’ll also have time to explore the island and appreciate its rich textile artistry.
We will return to Puno around 2:30 PM, arriving by 3:45 PM. After our arrival, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel, concluding a day filled with culture and natural beauty.
