We begin the day by picking you up from your hotel between 6:30 – 7:20 AM and transferring you to the new Paracas tourist dock. There, you’ll board a speedboat for an exciting two-hour tour to the Ballestas Islands. These stunning islands are home to thousands of migratory birds and lively colonies of sea lions, as well as other fascinating marine life like Humboldt penguins. After exploring the islands, we return to the dock, where you’ll have free time to explore the bay, take photos, shop for local crafts, or enjoy a light breakfast.
At 10:30 AM, following the Ballestas Islands tour, we embark on a tour of the Paracas National Reserve, the largest natural sanctuary along Peru’s coastline. Our first stop is the National Reserve’s Interpretation Center, followed by a visit to the remarkable natural rock formation known as “The Cathedral,” offering breathtaking panoramic views. We then continue to the picturesque beaches of Playa Roja and Yumaque, where you’ll take a short walk to the Flamingo and Fusilera viewpoints, perfect spots to observe migratory birds, marine fossils, and other unique natural wonders.
Finally, we’ll arrive at Playa Lagunillas, where you have the option to enjoy lunch or take a refreshing swim. The tour concludes as we depart for Ica around 2:30 PM, with transfers back to your hotel.
