ESNNA Prevention Policy

Tourist Perú absolutely rejects every form of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA) in tourism.

As a registered tourism service provider in Peru, we have signed the sworn statement adhering to the Code of Conduct against ESNNA issued by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), under Law No. 29408 (General Tourism Law) and the Travel and Tourism Agencies Regulation approved by Supreme Decree No. 005-2020-MINCETUR.

Below is the official notice approved by MINCETUR through Ministerial Resolution No. 108-2020-MINCETUR, setting out the legal provisions that criminally sanction conduct linked to ESNNA. The notice is issued in Spanish and English.

Our commitment

• We do not promote, facilitate or tolerate any activity linked to the sexual exploitation of minors.
• We inform our staff, guides, drivers and suppliers about the applicable law and criminal penalties.
• We expressly reject ESNNA in our relationships with suppliers and partners.
• We report any case or reasonable suspicion to the competent authorities.

How to report

• 1818 — Ministry of the Interior national reporting line (free, confidential, 24 hours).
• 105 — Peruvian National Police, or the nearest police station.
• 100 — Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations helpline.
• Any prosecutor’s office or police station in the country.
