Discover the best of Peru’s wines on this Lima wine tour. Taste exquisite local varieties, including unique native blends, as you explore the region’s winemaking history and traditions across four distinctive stops: a perfect mix of culture, flavor, and tradition for wine lovers and curious travelers alike.
Suitable for all ages.
Four stops across the afternoon. You start at a wine showroom with a tasting of handpicked regional wines, continue to the main square of Surco to hear about the district’s winemaking tradition, visit the Ugarelli vineyard for artisanal wines and piscos, and finish with a last tasting at a bar in Barranco. Tapas are served along the way, so you are not drinking on an empty stomach.
Alcohol is served from age 18 in Peru, so the tastings are for adults. Younger travellers can come along and are welcome at every stop, but they will not be served wine or pisco. If someone in your group would rather not drink, tell us when you book so we can let the venues know in advance.
Not at all. The tour is built for curious travellers rather than experts, and the guide explains how Peru’s coastal climate and geography shape what ends up in the glass. Peruvian wine is far less known abroad than pisco, so most people arrive with no reference points, which is part of the fun.
Private transport between the stops is included. We meet at 14:00 on Av. Jose Larco 724 in Miraflores and the tour finishes around 17:00 after the Barranco tasting. There is no hotel pickup, but the meeting point is central to Miraflores and easy to reach from anywhere in the district.
Tapas are served with the tastings, but this is not a full lunch or dinner. The tour runs from 14:00 to 17:00, so eat lunch beforehand and plan dinner afterwards. Finishing in Barranco puts you in one of Lima’s best districts for eating out, and your guide can point you somewhere good.
