About us

A small Peru travel company, run by two brothers

No call center and no hand-offs. You plan your trip directly with us, and licensed local guides take care of you on the ground.

Our story

Who we are

We’re Amir and Jaim Zloczover, two brothers who love Peru and love showing it to people. We started Tourist Perú because we kept seeing the same thing: travelers either booked a generic package or spent weeks piecing together tours, hotels and transfers on their own. We wanted to offer something in between: a trip designed around you by people who actually know the country.

Jaim lives in Lima and handles every trip personally, from the first quote to the last transfer.

How we work

Real people, start to finish

You talk to Jaim from your first message until you fly home, and you’ll always get a reply the same day.

Licensed local guides

Every tour is led by a licensed guide from the region you’re visiting.

Honest about what you get

Some experiences are private. Others, like the Lake Titicaca islands or the Machu Picchu trains and buses, are shared by nature. We tell you which is which before you book.

Everything on the ground

You book your flights; we plan and coordinate everything else in Peru: tours, transfers, trains, tickets and hotels.

Our guides

Locals who know their region inside out

The guide makes or breaks a trip, so we’re picky about who we work with. Every guide on our trips is licensed in Peru and lives in the region they show you: Cusco guides in Cusco, Arequipa guides in Arequipa. They know the history behind each site, the best time to visit to avoid the crowds, and the small places you won’t find in guidebooks.

We work with the same guides trip after trip, so we know how they work and our travelers get the same standard wherever they go. Tours are offered in English and Spanish.

100% recommended! I took a private tour of Maras, Moray and Chinchero. They pick you up in a very comfortable van, and the guide was excellent. Very professional and attentive to any request.
