Head out from the port of Callao to the Palomino Islands, home to a large colony of South American sea lions, and get in the water with them. On the way the boat passes San Lorenzo, the largest island off Peru, and El Frontón, a former island prison, while your guide tells their story. At Palomino you swim next to the sea lions in a life jacket, with seabirds and, with some luck, Humboldt penguins on the rocks.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so it fits into a single morning in Lima. Book at least 2 days ahead so we can confirm your spot with the boat.
All ages are welcome on the boat. Swimming is optional and always with a life jacket.
