After the pick up at 6:30 AM, your day starts at 8:00 AM with a scenic drive to Chinchero, where you can browse the vibrant textile market and learn about traditional weaving techniques. After immersing yourself in local culture, you’ll continue to the salt ponds of Maras, arriving around 9:00 AM. Here, you’ll witness the unique process of salt extraction, creating a stunning landscape of terraced pools.
At 10:00 AM, you’ll head to Moray, a site known for its remarkable circular agricultural terraces. After exploring this archaeological marvel, it’s time to savor lunch in Urubamba at around 11:00 AM (lunch time varies based on preference).
Post-lunch, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, you’ll visit Ollantaytambo, where the extensive ruins and majestic views will leave you in awe. The tour culminates with a visit to Pisaq from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, where you’ll explore both the impressive ruins and the lively market. Finally, you’ll make your way back to Cusco by 4:30 PM.
